#Top UK University Places For The Worthgate School UFP Students in 2024

The Worthgate School 2024 UFP cohort are celebrating obtaining top UK university places and excellent results today.

“We are delighted with how our University Foundation Programme students have performed exceptionally well in their exams and coursework this year.

Here at The Worthgate School, we have a strong history of supporting international students to achieve places at top UK universities and this year’s students continue our trend for high achievement. Our students will now progress to undergraduate studies at Durham University, University of Birmingham and University of Exeter as some examples, where they have gained places to study Criminology, Mechanical Engineering and Business Management.

Obtained a place at Mechanical Engineering to study University of Birmingham.

 In 2024, he won the CIFE Sixth Form Student Award and The Worthgate School Agent of Change Award. Both awards celebrate William’s commitment to positively contributing to the school community and enhancing the school experience for all students.

Obtained a place at Accounting and Management to study University of Bristol.

Lana won The Worthgate School Agent of Change Award in 2024. During her studies, she led the Diversity Club, coordinating many events that celebrated the diverse, international Worthgate community. Lana also led the Glee Club, who perform at many school events.

A History of Inspiring Success

The Worthgate School has an impressive history of facilitating international student success. In 2023, one UFP student progressed to St Andrews University, which is currently ranked the number 1 UK university.*

In the last six years, our students have secured places at 25 of the current top 30 UK universities. Students have achieved places at 79% of the Russell Group universities in the last six years. 

Our 2024 students add to our historical success by achieving results that enable them to study at top universities. They are now creating a bright future of their own making.
