NHS Staff Tuition Benefit – Supporting Our Community
At The Worthgate School, we’re proud to support the remarkable work of NHS families. To recognise the vital contribution you make, we’re pleased to offer a 20% reduction on tuition fees for eligible parents.
Who’s eligible?
We welcome this benefit for parents employed by the NHS in any capacity whether you’re full-time, part-time or on a fixed-term contract. We’ll review eligibility each year to ensure the benefit continues alongside your employment.
This offer applies to tuition fees only and is separate from our scholarships and bursaries, which are awarded based on achievement or financial need.
This benefit is available for September 2026 entry.
How to qualify
To help us process your application smoothly, please share the following (ideally before interview):
• A copy of your contract of employment or a confirmation letter from HR
• Verification from your NHS email address (sent directly from your Trust)
• A photo or copy of your NHS ID badge
What you need to know
• The discount is applied each academic year and depends on continued NHS employment.
• We recommend including your NHS details when you apply so we can support your family as early as possible.
Armed Forces Tuition Benefit – Honouring Our Service Families
At The Worthgate School, we are proud to support families who serve in HM Armed Forces. In recognition of your commitment and contribution, we are pleased to offer a 20% reduction on tuition fees for eligible parents.
Who’s eligible?
This benefit is available to parents who are currently serving in HM Armed Forces. Eligibility is reviewed annually and is subject to appropriate confirmation of service.
This reduction applies to tuition fees only and remains separate from our scholarships and bursaries, which are awarded in recognition of academic achievement or financial need.
The Armed Forces Tuition Benefit is available for September 2026 entry.
How to qualify
To help us process your application smoothly, we kindly ask that you provide appropriate proof of current service (for example, official documentation or confirmation from your unit), ideally prior to interview.

• The 20% reduction is applied each academic year and is dependent on continued service.
• We recommend sharing your Armed Forces details at the point of application so we can support your family as early as possible.
Sixth Form Academic Domestic Scholarships – Rewarding Excellence
At The Worthgate School, we celebrate academic ambition and intellectual curiosity. Our Sixth Form Academic Scholarships are designed to recognise exceptional domestic students who demonstrate outstanding potential as they begin their A Level journey.
For September 2026 entry, we are offering up to five fully funded scholarships to high-achieving students entering Year 12.
What the scholarship offers
• Full tuition fee funding for two years of Sixth Form study
• Continuation into Year 13, subject to satisfactory academic performance and engagement
How students are selected
Scholarships will be awarded through a competitive process, based on:
• GCSE results
• A completed application
• Interview performance
• CAT4 assessment results
