From the Principal

The Worthgate School has been inspiring and empowering students to achieve for over 70 years. Our campus is nestled in a leafy corner of historic Canterbury, a city that is renowned for its safety and beauty, and for being home to three universities that have educated generations of young minds.

In all we do, The Worthgate School inspires and empowers our students to achieve greatness.

Dr Ian Gross, FCCT - Principal

The Worthgate Experience

Our award-winning approach works by identifying the individual’s academic needs and aspirations, providing them with a stimulating and modern immersive education environment which allows them to reach their full potential.

Achieving The Best Academic Outcomes

We recognise the importance of a student achieving their university goal. However, we do not only view success by a list of rankings and league tables, but also in helping our students find the right university for them.

Our Campus

Our campus dates back to the early 20th century with many of our buildings and boarding houses being constructed more recently to suit the changing education needs of 21st century students.
